Hi guys
I want to pvp, so that means having the isk to replace ships fairly often. However most of the players that seem to be able to throw ships into pvp are using money making alts to fund it.
Im not going down that route as tbh I think its a joke that to enjoy a game you have to maybe pay for it 2 or 3 times over just to have enough in game cash to make the most of it. Before the nul sec nerf I had to grind to make enough isk, but it was fair enough. Now things are a lot more difficult.
Any opinions on this?

Ohh im not meaning to derail the thread. That was simply the way ive been making my isk, thats all. I could return to mining as I have the skills for it but thats the last thing I want to do.

I would love to hear ccp's opinion on this.
I know what your saying about caving in and getting the second account, I have been tempted but I would be more tempted to go and try a single account on another mmo first.

Im not saying I cant do any of those things. What I am saying is that I cant make enough isk to enjoy them in a reasonable time frame.
the reason I would like to hear an opinion from CCP is to see what they think a player in my situation can do? Is it inevitable that I will have to start an alt? and if so how can they justify a player needing to pay for two accounts just to enjoy a game that's meant to be playable on one?

It double your income if you have 2 hulks mining at once for an example. Ive also seen players rat with multiple accounts.

I don't recall ever saying that I was in a unique situation. At the end of the day pvp is what I find the most fun in the game, sure I could just fly t1 frigs all the time and could quiet happily never worry about isk again.
But then again I may as well stop training skills once I have maxed the t1 frigs :)
The point I have always been trying to get across is that people that dont want to grind for 2/3 days to enjoy one night of pvp are pretty much screwed. I cant see me being the only one in this position.

Oh I can figure it out, either put more hrs in, buy plex or get a second account.
So basically what I said in my first post. If you dont have loads of hours to dedicate to this game, RL money to spend on plex or 2 accounts you are limited in what you can do.

Btw, having kids is not a bs excuse, its the reason I cant sit and rat or do lvl 4's all day long.
